Fonda will be releasing two new books soon!
I, Fonda Woodard, proudly served for 36 years in the Federal Aviation Administration, working as a transportation specialist, career advisor, and first sergeant. Beyond my professional life, I am a devoted wife, mother of four, and grandmother of ten, one of whom is my beloved angel grandbaby. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
After years of carrying unspoken pain, I found the courage to share my story. Never Said a Word is my debut book, written with honesty and strength.
My advocacy extends through my podcast, a FEW Mindful Moments, which talks about healing, resilience, and growth. Moreover, my blog, a FEW Lost Words, is a place where I share further, deeper reflections.
Today, I continue to advocate for survivors, service members, veterans, and families, ensuring that their voices are heard and acknowledged.
Through my podcast, a Few Mindful Moments, I create space for honest conversations about resilience, healing, and personal growth. Each episode offers encouragement and meaningful reflections to help listeners overcome life’s challenges and take forward their own journey toward wholeness.
These heartfelt reviews come from readers who have been inspired by Never Said a Word.
Never Said a Word shook me in the best possible way. Fonda’s courage to speak about abandonment and abuse made me confront my own silences. Every page of this memoir reminded me that healing is possible, even after years of silence.
I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. Fonda’s honesty broke my heart and healed it at the same time. Her story is painful yet empowering and it reminded me that our past doesn’t have to define who we become.
This book speaks directly to survivors like me. For years, I thought I was alone in my silence. Reading Fonda’s words felt like sitting with someone who finally understood. Her bravery gives others the strength to reclaim their own voices and begin their healing journey.
Never Said a Word is one of the most powerful memoirs I’ve ever read. Fonda writes with both pain and hope. Her message is desperately needed in today’s world.
I will never forget this book. It challenged me to rethink how silence influences families and communities. Fonda’s willingness to share the most difficult parts of her story offers a mirror for anyone carrying generational pain.
Fonda’s story is heartbreaking but necessary. She captures abuse and the weight of silence with such clarity. This book opened my eyes to the struggles so many go through quietly. It’s a reminder that telling the truth is a way of healing.
